A warm welcome is guaranteed at Kandara Guest House in Islington, north London.   A family-run bed & breakfast, providing B&B accommodation for over 60 years!

Situated in a quiet, leafy residential area just minutes from Islington‘s outstanding theatres and restaurants.  Kandara is conveniently located for transport into both the West End and the City of London.

We take pride in providing high quality, clean and comfortable accommodation.   Kandara provides a much-loved base to explore the capital, as well as a conveniently placed second home for those temporarily working in the city.

We have free overnight street parking although there are some daytime restrictions.  Contact us for details.  We are outside the Congestion Charge Zone.

We are registered with Visit England – the official tourist board – and following their inspections have been awarded a 3 star quality approval.

All our bedrooms have recently been redecorated and furnished.  Beds have high quality pocket sprung mattresses.  We have flat screen televisions and free WiFi internet access in all our rooms.

All rooms have a wash-basin and tea & coffee making facilities.

We welcome children of all ages.  Cots and High chairs are usually available but it is advisable to pre-book if these are required.

Bathrooms are shared.  We have 10 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (each with shower and toilet) plus 1 extra toilets.  That’s at least 1 bathroom for every 3 guests!

The guesthouse is centrally heated and completely non-smoking.

We welcome enquires from disabled customers and are happy for guests to contact us directly to discuss any additional requirements they have.  Kandara is located in a 4 storey house with 5 steps leading up to the main entrance.

We provide secure cycle storage.  Sorry, we do not accept pets (except Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs).

We provide hair dryers and towels – 1 large towel and 1 hand towel for every guest.
