Taxis and Minicabs
Black taxis are available to hire on request. The taxi is fitted with a meter which calculates the cost of your journey. We have found these difficult to pre-book for short journeys.
Minicabs are available to hire for any length of journey but must be pre-booked. Agree the price first before travel. This is then fixed no matter how long the journey takes. The nearest minicab company is available just around the corner on Essex Road or by telephoning (020) 7359 3333.
During the busy morning and evening rush hours book at least 1 hour ahead
